NFL Week 1 picks, predictions:
Tyler Sullivan writes: “The 49ers should be viewed as a significant favorite against Chicago. The Bears have a new coach and a second-year quarterback who lacks weapons around him, so 2022 could be another down year. continue that rebuild. San Francisco was also 8-4 ATS on the road in 2021.”
Jason Katz writes: “Unlike the aforementioned Jets, the Bears have done almost nothing to help their second-year signal-caller. Fields’ WR1 is Darnell Mooney, and his WR2 and WR3 are Byron Pringle and Equanimeous St. Brown. The only wide receiver Chicago drafted was 25-year-old special aid Velus Jones Jr. A touchdown is a heavy price to pay on the road, but I have no confidence in the Bears this season.”

Bookies.com: Get the under on the 49ers vs. Bears game
Bill Speros writes: “The 49ers, Deebo Samuel and Jimmy Garoppolo remain stuck with each other – at least as of this writing. The situation hasn’t changed since early this offseason. Bears hire Matt Eberfus as coach. Brought in a new offensive and defensive coordinator. 49ers reached NFC title game before blowing 10-point lead to Rams. Samuel wants trade while Niners want trade Jimmy G. Garoppolo continues to heal from shoulder surgery off-season and may well be moved once he is deemed fully healthy.”

WSN: Take the Bears by the points against the 49ers
Mike Lukas writes: “New Chicago Bears coach Matt Eberflus is a 52-year-old defensive specialist who should match up against this historic defensive force, now with two rookie starters in the secondary – SS Jaquan Brisker and CB Kyler Gordon. young team QB’d by 23-year-old OSU alum Justin Fields, who struggled there in his rookie season, a born winner ready to win. the spread, even though the Niners will probably win it outright.”
Brendan Danaher writes: “Kyle Shanahan’s explosive offensive scheme will be too much for the Bears’ middling defense to handle. Justin Fields doesn’t have enough weapons to overwhelm the 49ers’ defense under up-and-coming defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans. As If the task wasn’t difficult enough, the Bears also have a new coach in Matt Eberflus. The Bears will be lucky to win more than six games this season and this won’t be one of them.”
